This is a good herb to take for hormonal balance. I quit the dong quai and red clover as I noticed they were giving me headaches and other undesirable side effects. When I took this, I noticed my period was less painful and headache was minor. But I also take other supplements like fish oil and prebiotics during my cycle so those could be contributing factors too. One star less for the capsules seeming to go rancid/ old too quickly. Like there is still a quarter of the bottle left and they are now all dark brown and less fresh. Maybe it's the humid weather.
